List Person

Are you a list person?  I am.  I need a very organized list to shop, plan a day, plan a week, etc.  Lately I haven't been on top of my lists and I feel lost. I know last night I thought of something I needed to do and yet didn't write down and now my list for today isn't complete and it's causing me anxiety.  I am sitting here going through my blogs and emails trying desperately to remember what it was I needed to do before I can even get dressed or started on my day. Really, in the grand scheme of things it shouldn't be important, if I forget something I can always run out again, but that's not how I feel inside. I am such a list person that I will plan one direct route around the city getting errands done and even a traffic redirection will stress me out!

Sigh...  let's hope I remember soon.

Fresh Start

Here it is, my fresh start.  

After sitting for months enjoying other peoples blogs wondering if I will ever have anything interesting enough going on in my life to write about, I bit the bullet, jumped in head first, and started over with a brand new blog. I am openly making a commitment to write things about my life NOW, as it changes so quickly and I want first and foremost to have a record of it for my reflection and for my children. 

The Title:   My Life Is This Moment

I chose this title to inspire myself. Really I was being quite selfish as I thought about what kind of blog I wanted to start and what parts of my life I wanted to write about.  This is the mantra I have been repeating in my head over the last while and I need to remember it often.  It seems I have been having more bad days than good, wishing time away and things to happen NOW and that's not fair to me or my family. I constantly refocus myself on the moment, because that is the only thing I have control over... mostly.  The blog will also focus on ALL aspects of my life so I need an all encompassing title. Sometimes I'll talk about CK's hunting, sometimes my babies, sometimes my hobbies. I will do my best to label my posts for those that look for specific things although at times each of these sections could be quite interesting! Let's see how this blog grows, welcome to all new friends and followers! 

The Blogger:  

Currently I have a husband, we'll call him CK from now on, and a son that is 20 months old. I am 30 weeks pregnant with our daughter so soon she'll be an interesting addition to the blog.  I am a stay-at-home mom mostly but tutor reading and writing and hope to get some kids in soon before I get too close to my due date.  I was born and raised in Alberta, Canada but now live in the deserts of New Mexico. My husband and I met in Rome, Italy, on Christmas Eve, and spent 2.5 years (4.5 years for him) living in Germany with the US Army. He loves to hunt, I love to craft, my toddler loves to test my patience. I am a certified computer nerd. Feel free to ask some more questions if any of this sounds interesting to you.
